Main reason for optimism is leapfrogging - thats when a society/place that was excluded from industrial age networks leapfrogs an old system to a new one thanks to 1000 times more COMstech than 1946; about a third of the world never had wired telephone lines, now almost all have mobile (text version); more than a quarter of the world never had electricity grids, now microsolar is linking in;. Prior to 2017 only Jim Kim open spaced this debated in DC: let's hope all parents and youth do now from usa to china to Rome, from Scotland to Argentina, from Bangalore to Haiti. from . G1 G2. dear ab and friends connecting boston and other open tech wizard hubs

yes i want to link a team visit to boston in consultation with john kiehl and others; i have particular need ogf advice as boston students urgently need to stat g20 student union clubs - in particular 2018's deadline should unite all latin american and other franscican students; 2019 all indian connecting students - and how both groups bridge china and usa - what trump or indeed congress is utterly irrelevant to what youth technologists collaborate around job creation if sustainability is to be your generation worldwide goal

AB do you have a summary of what your research of boston has brought using your editorial eyes as india wikipedias chief rural, technology and health searcher? how highly do you rate 1) joi ito's media lab 2) quadirs legatum lab 3) whomever runs development lab  4) edward roberts sloan and trust labs? -what would make up yout top 10 of tech labs interested in small enterprise platforms and eg blockchain

he had some special deadlines over last 2 months that ended today- so i hope in next week to clarify his diary

amy (and her friends) have been studying what links does china need with boston -eg jose knows how fab lab movement started in boston and has connected fab-cities around the world; i believe that mit's 4-day annual summit on fab labs devotes one day to extextiles- lee wianright invented those and has a new open source segment to launch if i understand correctly; lee's wife miko is mapping back tokyo olympics (main sponsor is now ali baba) and may be looking at whether there can be an asian 100 model parallel to the china100 model; ranga is spending most of this year in bangalore uniting coders for yazmi elearning satellite that needs partners in scaling up curation of african school contents 300000 children at a time- intel friends in new york are one such partner

i first met fady when we were both helping judge accelerator phase of mit100k; one of his multiple entrepreneurial ventiutres was maintaining bostons ecosystem newsletters of youth entrepreneur events and tech's innovation edges; he been at leding edge of robotics i think; others like marinez and doswell are in going beyond expensive bridband and training supercoders eg in blockchain

out of west baltimore we have the usa's deepest inner city generation hub - no chance of baltimore-dc  becoming one of the world's 4 supercity sustainability networks without it; nowhere has more connection with how black americans build america and we know every real womens empowerment model that has been tested in usa or bangladesh; and no inner city hub has potential connections with china's education revolution like baltimore with it being favorite inner city experiment of both pope francis and jim kim both of whom china's most radical educators admire

best chris  day 12 under trump
