INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 4 : our goodHUBSguide awards for 2020 startupgrind and zoomuni- started in london 2005 year of make poverty history hubbers thank klaus schwab for extending a week long skiing for leadership hunt to 4 cities linking in humansai- san framcisco, tokyo, beijing, delhi- it was a pity that those who met at san francisco in 1945 chose one way to un just the atlantic belt roads not asia pacific beltroads too- after all two thirds of humans live on the asian continent and it was the british english mindset which trspun slavery and povery traps across the old world- born to a scottish veteran who served his last days as a teen i would exist without the kindness of americans stopping the old world from 2 global wars but that doesnt mean enough americans understood diversity of colred skinned original continents of asia or africa in 1945 -any un curriculum in american schools needed to connect california with maps of asia, west asia landbridge to africa not just the vanities of the western g6 representing less than 10% of people lives- these inequalities were an accident of how the first 18 decades of humans and machines spread- if only what glasgow u's watt and smith started up in 1760s had spread as efficiently as nature's virus- this is a terminal reminder that man's globalisation is broken wherever it fails exinction-testing rules of bottom-up and open not trumpian top down and bordered

Main reason for optimism is leapfrogging - thats when a society/place that was excluded from industrial age networks leapfrogs an old system to a new one thanks to 1000 times more COMstech than 1946; about a third of the world never had wired telephone lines, now almost all have mobile (text version); more than a quarter of the world never had electricity grids, now microsolar is linking in;. Prior to 2017 only Jim Kim open spaced this debated in DC: let's hope all parents and youth do now from usa to china to Rome, from Scotland to Argentina, from Bangalore to Haiti. from . G1 G2. Even as the 1960s moon race inspired the world, we need to understand how unequal the opporttunity to innovate had been - even in the 1960s as many as half the world's people had no access to electricity grids so they got their news of the moon race by word of mouth.

Consider 1000-1500- until the last few years of this period , the known world was Europe-Asia and NE Africa; #BR8 the med sea was the main world trade waterway; places facing this sea increasingly developed win-win trades; moreover #BR7 the west asian border to med sea was the start of an amazing overland relay of traders which stretched all the way to china (the silk road was the greatest overland world trade route ever and to sustain its interfacing markets required positive cross-cultural bridging all along its route. Silks and spices from the Chinese end acted like a positive currency- there was much demand for them whose value naturally went up the further they were merchanted back to Europe. Everyone gained for this trading route- you can read marco polo's diaries- perhaps nowhere invested more in artistic celebrations of being a major hub of positive trade than his hometown venice in europe and the town he was asked to govern for 2 years in china Hangzhou which marco described as the great town of markets in the world.)

What happened towards 1500 that 2 long shipping routes were discovered by north europeans- the new world of the ameriucas to the west (#BR6 N, #BR10 what we now call Latin America), and a way of reaching the @BR2 South Asian coastal Belt (starting with the indian subcontinent) by sailing around africa. A ship captain couldnt affird such a long return voyage unless he goit what trade he wanted- soon this big ships were equipped with gun power and crews were pressganged or even enslaved. Next in the process was colonising. So it was that nations became big by pludering economies of other peoples places. Back in 1500 places economic size was corelated with population. Soon Britain grew at the expense particularly of the Indian subcontiuent. Mainly Britain and France colonised Africa too, Spain andPotrtugal colonised Latin America. North America was settled by a mixyure of Europeans whose declaration of Indendence in 1776 ended any attempt by Britain to colonise America, But we should note that the USA was built on a sort of internal colonisation - natives had theor places taken over and slaves were used to do most of the hard labour. In effect the old war's colonial ways casued the 2 world wars of the fkirst half of the 20th C. From 1946 most of the world's countries regained their independence but starting from (mainly undeveloped states - poverty that the colonia era had gtraped them in).

Ironically whule the UDA came to tghe resuce of the old workld and from 1946 helped relaunch the two biggest losers of world war 2 Germsny and Japan, american (not withstandiong thair family trees origins) had previously had little modern of knowledge of Eurasia but were pulled into peacekeeping and the cold war with russia through the sceond half of the 20th C. Whilst there was some understanding of the extraoerdinary progress japanese enginers made with electornics, civil and other enginnering, the rise and rise of the east and the often difficult bodrers that had been caused by British and Jpoanese colonisation of the region are not deeply studied by most Americans or their media. It should be the best news the world has ever seen that the fifth of the world in chjna tghat closed itself to the world for more than a centiry after Brfits has offered opium as a gtrading currency in 1860 is now as entrepreneurial as anywhere. With over half of tghe world's ;people facikng either the sout asia or east asia coastal belts, the opportunity the east is cfreating to win0pwin gtrade oin line with moore's ever increasing technology should make sustainable youth worlwdie the gfreatesty positive curency-invetsment the human race has ever mapped. But this is not how USA or the block of coungtriues ruled by the Euro have marketed transapfrently. Instead we are caught in the Keynsian crisis of economist not valuing the hippocratic oathes he had published as tghe final chapter of the ngeneral throy of employment money and interest. The 2020s are likely to make the system designs our tech spreads irreversible- will the end game be big brother extinction or little sister sustainability?

4 themes were rehearsed at the wall street imperative club yesterday: norman macrae 1984: macroeconomics spoun by western mass media during 3rd q of 20th C is disgusting political chicanery - it devalues parenting and family and especially girls half of the world-- the only way the economies of communities develop and interconnect; this is the transformation the g20 argentina consensus must give back to world youth; only china offers big data small solutions that can collaboratively sustain youth in middle of industrial revolution 4; over the next 1461 will we really let open learning die?; supercities are the global village antidote and west baltimore as the antithesis of Donald's world can be the most trusted partner youth will find @ american freedoms last stand

CAMILO (and friends)
4 tippjng point agendas wanted to doublecheck with you all and amy (chinas quarter billion girls), maurice vatican university youth ambassador before discussing urgently with others including baltimore this week and berkeley based connectors april 5 (of course there are other potential collaboration agendas)

if some urgent for you, please suggest how we can progress- eg could we share an action google doc or some communication process

#1 next 15 months critical to future of latin america and those who advocate franciscan models to end extreme poverty including pope francis, jim kim , sir fazle abed, inner city us communities, latin and eg refugee sustainability as a dynamic in Europe,, (brexit and so where do english language people trade their impacts on world changing moments in future history) consciousness movements - jim kim is clearest about double consequence of franciscan ideology on his life works-
1 POP preferential option poor - professions action learn bottom up with poorest and app latest technology to resolving system traps : PYP that is young professionals mediating sustainability of public private partnerships- its all very nice that UN makes goal 17 partnerships- its fatal it doesnt value under 30s mediating/opening space to sustainability - sustainability is consequence their generation will exponentially win or lose, its a pity we dont use terminology 17 Collaboration (mass Flourishing) Goals -see coliumbia's edmund phelps -lets SME every world trade market's socially just imoacts - just about the only western economist china enjoys its youth (especially its mother of all networks tsinghua alumni) hearing from and action networking with

why next 15 months everything latin will be converged argentina g20 summer 2018 and actually youth and other action incubation networks start august 2017 (ie same time as class 2017-2018) once german g20 over;

I am told by jinping's diarist at brooking and kissinger and c100 members that:

jinping chooses 6 out of top 7 party members by august for his second half of 10 years of leadership- during furst half he had next to no choice; he also chooses place leaders - how policies of supercities weave with villages and make different regions of china comparatively advantageous- however to unite the poorest parts (west china) his infrastructure project with suoerrail across continent to venice and then africa (old marco polo route) combined with superport maritime route is to be plug and played with

as well as g20 landing in argentina, and managing public servants- jim kim has asked conscious technology ceos to declare their aims - something they all meet at tsinghua university to do; and of course over next 15 months much of trumps creative destruction will be clear including wall or no wall

the other 3 agendas
#2 how big data small links through engineering coleges we all have contacts) (columbia mit nyu-brooklyn)  with from east coast to china and to west coast - specifically columbia as new york crossroads and one that amy would prefer to make pivotal to exchanges with tsinghua that her chinese girls team have many entries into- this includes topics kiehl and marinez talk about continuously and wolfram and other system approaches eg those of don beck's (there are so many gurus from sir gazle abed to don beck whos succession alumni spaces are unclear to me)

#3 how "freedom or death" future of open learning spins- ed's in middle of practical challenges of this in africa and other spaces; meanwhile the education commission launched out of new york by 30 national leaders has actually gone backwards on transformational education experiments whole rushing round the ;politics of fundraising- instead wise out of qatar is where radical incubation of education projects is happening plus any place that partners with jack ma's friends; in november wise in qatar host co-creative education summit- this build on its 2 newest networks - what 500 people out of madrid sponsored by santander want included in education experiments; nov 2017 what 100 chiens people and mass media in beijing want
-whats most peculiar about this tipping point is there is zero chance innovating transformations needed to prevent half of youth being unemployable by 2030 within the prisons that have become the certification monopolies of national trade unions and big money men- this is clear when you spend 3 days among education incubators at eg wise or the million dollar teacher summit but most of all in china where the mass media have been asked to investigate education monopolies; let us assume china certifies professional degrees at 100$ within 4 years - eg thats the cost of taking and getting certified on 20 youth-relevant world bank moocs such as climate; i understand that is oversimplified maths- but equally the universal text mobile made financial transaction 100 times less costly to sustain and those who bashed or ant financed the consequences of that are free- those who not only let themselves be subprimed but refinanced the same bad bank constitutions have put their youths futures in harms way  -if this is a correct report of where spending 1000 times more on commns technologies 2016 versus 1946 has gotten us, we should assume we have 1461 days left of freedom and trust that chinese youth can be the best friend of all worldwide youth Can world's biggest broken system be fixed? - yes only with mass collaboration

#4 supercities have been defined by dc sportstar owner and his hi-tech hubs friend steve case as conurbations of 25 million where all families livelihoods thrive- where those with expertise or riches are intrapreneurially asked by the public to action network with the most disadvantaged areas in the region

we have the mother of all benchmark supercity hubs in west baltimore- recognised by people francis the communities if thurgood marshal were actually started by 2 black girls in 1870s- 30 years before gandhi was kicked off a first class train carriage in south africa they were kicked if a cruise liner- they won the court case that even black girls were people not belongings- all case law for social justice inside usa started with them - and they invested their compensation in the faith communities and learning networks that brought up thurgood marshall - late may this year is time for a major relaunch now that a massive community redevelopment program is being launched around thurgood marshals old offices - this is the most legitimate bottom up space in dc region or usa for all social justice projects to be incubated; in second week of april i hope to arrange for tania zaman who leads plan international in bangladesh and was sir fazle abeds corporate brand director to visit baltimore to strengthen girls goal 11 collaborations (plan was featured at ford foundation as leading unhabitats understanding of how girls would redesign developing cities

here are some more latin connections - whilst not speaking spanish

whe amy and i worked on naila chowdury (from 1996 yunus first female director grameen) girls empowerment latin projects at organisation of american states we got to know their continent wide youth entrepreneur network leaders and allied social demand ones sponsored by IADB and Blum Berkeley

i have been over twice to rome and the youth ambassador of vatican university vested amys friends in new york - so we can help assemble vatican youth if there are g20 projects to sherpa

i know the lady who sherpas canadas youth to g20 and i think she will share practical info on timings etc

oin kenya we have connections with many of the rural catholic led schooling systems as well as eg jamii bora - as recently as 2010 queen sofia asked that this youth s;um microcredit be benchmarked in 60 citeis around the world and that she be debriefed on this at the world microcredsummit she guest hosted juts outside madrid 2012- since then jamii bora has been reregulated and no longer exists as a bank run by its slum youth- when obama convened hos world entrepreneur summit in nairobi 2015 the first reaction was the slaying of 150 students in northern rural college- what exactly obama's legacy is anywhere can now be locally audited- clearly in towns like baltimore his reign was too blackish to ever preferentially help redesign development around the very poorest- not that i have any ability to be politically correct in these most innovative of times- what jack ma calss the blockchaining of back from everyones borderless future of industrial revolution 4 with the constitutions of industrial revolution 1 where the opportunities to innovate were extremely unevenly distributed geograhpically with the 3 halves of the world poor girl youth having least opportunity to mediate the future

there are 3 huge under30 value networks that I am trying to get to know leaders permissions in

spanish networks of wise - if there is a place for whole truth for humanity it seems mathematically to me to be : is that spaniards and italinads who don not learn 2nd languages of english chinese and coding are to be more and more sideshowed from these critical next few years even as franciscans are the mlost empowering of god-based religions and conficianism is the most empowering of natural spirits movements -second languages are the least efficient thing to teach in classrooms, their peer to peer diffusion ought to be the only reason why youth spend tiem in social networks

george soros new economics which bridges hope for european and latin youth with his research bases in columbia uni
2000 conscious student unions whose connector has just been headhunted by kiehl's friend john mackey

as always devil is in details - and who wants to take charge of uniting what- camilo i particulary lont understand latin america way forward =which of things you are leading out of new york and your other bases connect with above- and how do timelines blend; the one slide attached doesnt begin to do justice to all the connectons of ed resor, john kiehl and jose marinez- can it be co-edited into shape?

amy's friends have a need to start organsiing leadership trips to beijing by middle may
i am sure each of us has critical timelimes or knows of events which may seminnally tip something

its clear to me china is serious about sustainable jobs of its half billion under 30s- it has a diferent invitation to diferent cloisetrs of countries; some of these like to africa are continuous; but latin america peaks at g20 argentina 2018 and indias peaks at India G20 2019 - the next 2 class years of students - and the prime time of donald's america- during transtition kissinger flew over to jinping and talked to dnoald- his message whomever's in power 2017-2020 will go down in history as best or worst of leaders - nothing in between- his messages to his top 10 chinese americans networks keep every skill and arts trade going between youth of china and america- the last thing the world needs is a cold war over its youth where every nation has to choose one bipolar side between usa and china
