Main reason for optimism is leapfrogging - thats when a society/place that was excluded from industrial age networks leapfrogs an old system to a new one thanks to 1000 times more COMstech than 1946; about a third of the world never had wired telephone lines, now almost all have mobile (text version); more than a quarter of the world never had electricity grids, now microsolar is linking in;. My father's life work at The Economist concerned changing education (3 billion new jobs of sustainability generation). Friends like Sir Fazle Abed have hosted remembrance parties.
Now we are working on connecting entrepreneur alumni from 10 summit and sino-english publication of World Record Jobs Creators. Of these 10 summits converging on the communities for all Expo Jack Ma is sponsoring at Japan Olympics summer 2020, 5 on jobs-rich education and 5 connecting cultural trade and technological partnerships linked round china's dialogue on long term investments between clusters of nations- UN leader Antonio Guterres has for example called Beijing's Belt Road summit a people-centric economic global 2.0, driven by scaling sustainability goal solutions

I know your leadership team have been involved in several of these past summits but of the next 10 we are connecting people and education solutions around one is at the UN General Assembly Sept 2018. Could you tell me who is the contact point in your office for this summit. In New York we connect a particularly active student base of girls from China and concerned with girls empowerment (eg they attended sir fazle abed 80th birthday at brac). My experience from 8 visits to China is: regarding how education can change the world, china has many world leading ideas which its overseas female students in particular want to share and keep connecting before and after as well as during a summit such as WISE@UNGA - As you may know, at the UNAI WISE hosts the refugee learning hub educationaboveall which was my main focus of study at qatar's 6th laureate summit in november where the next 3 summits in africa at the UN and in Paris were announced.
